The numerous styles of electronic art have absorbed all the official 20th Century variations/solutions to be then re-launched in video installations, in animation and in live media, combining them with sound and blessing them with movement. Hybridization and fluidity are key concepts of the postmodern era, and ideas today flow through trajectories that converge and intersect, creating a network. Marco Mendeni plays with defects and errors in a world that seems to not have any. Born in Brescia, now commuting between Milan and Berlin, Mendeni has long been dedicated to artistic research that experiences the contamination of materials, computer animation and 3D production. All of this with a particular focus on the process that leads the videogame medium to become a social medium. (Marcella Loconte)
