All’interno di una serra in stato di abbandono, l’artista, opponendo il ventre al manico di un attrezzo da lavoro conficcato nella terra, tenta con fatica di mantenere l’equilibrio. Veste abiti eleganti, ha le mani legate dietro la schiena. L’utensile che potenzialmente potrebbe essere utilizzato per rendere quel luogo produttivo ha qui la mera funzione di tenere in piedi l’uomo. Tuttavia questa non è né una posizione comoda, né, probabilmente, voluta. “La nostra alba” traccia il ritratto di una generazione che ha difficoltà ad autosostenersi e a trovare il proprio posto. L’azione ha avuto luogo all’alba, nessuno spettatore era presente. /In an abandoned greenhouse, the artist, resting with the belly on the handle of a tool stuck in the ground, is struggling to keep the balance. He wears elegant clothes, his hands are tied behind his back. The agricultural tool which potentially could be used to make that place productive here has the mere function of keeping up the man. However neither is this a comfortable position, nor, most probably a chosen one. “Our Dawn” attempts to draw a portrait of a generation having difficulty in sustaining itself and finding its proper place. The action took place at the dawn of a new day, no spectator was present.
