[eng] Emptied space, traces, ruins, powder. Two vacuum cleaners switched on. A man facing a walled up arch plays on the violin a single note in unison with the noise of the machines. The work starts from considerations on the formation and decay of memory, and the condition of solitude of memory. Isolated, within a space that conserves not fully decipherable signs, elusive fragments of the past, the man stands between oblivion and the exhausting effort to keep alive the testimony. The human presence is topped, even numerically, by machines which on one hand are wearily delegated to the removal of residues, the emptying of the space, on the other hand fills the environment with noise. The man re-accorded to the buzz surrounding it.
